Annalisa was baptized last weekend, which was a wonderful, beautiful event, and the appropriate number of pictures are forthcoming. In the meantime, enjoy this little snapshot of her nursery, which was also both boys' nursery, so turning it into Sissy's room required copious amounts of pink (hot pink). This is just one shot from the angle I had the other night when it struck me how cute and beautiful she is in her own room. When Cody painted this room four years ago he asked me to design it in a way that it won't have to be re-painted if we have a girl. So, here is a little glimpse of my efforts to change the baby boy room to the baby girl room:

Pink and green. The little pink spot on top of the green polka dot sheet is our baby. Thanks to Auntie Karyn who has decorated our home with her beautiful quilting, and once again contributed with this amazing wall hanging that has all the right colors! |

A wonderful Daddy helping Sissy get to sleep. |

Peaceful baby looking at her daddy. |

Meanwhile, here is the chaos that ensues in the room next door. |

Just for fun-- our very cool baby. |

I had no idea they made bedskirts for cribs! How did my babies grow up without such girlie things? You've done a great job transforming the nursery into Annalisa's special place.
I LOVE the colors you put together! It looks beautiful!!!
